Go Kart Racing

Kart racing, often see as an entry-level to car racing, is still a widely popular and well regarded professional motorsport with many national and international championships held each year. A variant of its big brother motorsport, Formula One, karts are smaller and open-wheeled and whilst go-karting as a recreational public activity limits speeds, professional karts can reach higher than 160mph. The CIK-FIA (Commission Internationale de Karting – Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) is the main governing body for international karting events and sets rules and regulations on vehicular classes and racing styles. Due to the sports generally lower speed, almost anyone can participate and it’s often seen as a fun way to introduce children to motor sporting activities. Anyone over the age of 8 years old can compete in licensed races.

Formula Car Racing

Formula One is the category of automobile racing with the highest following, the foundations of Formula racing can be traced back to the formation of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) in 1904, a non-profit organization which sought to represent the interests of motor users and motoring organizations and continues to do so. The name is derived from the regulations (or formulae) affirmed by the FIA for all single-seater motor racing participants and their respective vehicles.
